Charles Maurice de Talleyrand 1754-1838 speaking of the perfect cup of coffee.
Coffee Beans

Sumatra Mandhling
Sumatra Mandheling coffee beans are known for having a taste that is rich, full-bodied, earthy, rustic yet have a mild acidity. While higher acidity coffees overall are a deeply satisfying brew, it can be too much for coffee drinkers who prefer a milder experience. The low acidity makes Sumatra Mandheling a great option for people with acid sensitivities. The Catimor and Typica coffee plants harvested for the natural almond, chocolate, and lemongrass notes are enhanced by wet-hulling and sun drying the coffee beans. While there is increased experimentation among processing methods in Indonesia, the cultural predominance and economic advantages of wet hulling continue to permeate the region giving its unique flavors.

Bali Blue Moon
Although It presents traces of the earthy flavor profile characteristic of Indonesian coffees, Bali Blue Moon renders a clean and classic brew. Exotic, flavorful, and aromatic. Bali Blue is fully Indonesian in character but without being "earthy". Full of ripe stone fruit and Dutch chocolate tones, with a rich full body. Bold and smooth, the flavors persist into a syrupy black-cherry finish. This is one of our most popular offerings.

West Java Sundanese
This coffee is grown in a region known for prolific rainfall, black volcanic earth and lush rainforest. The terroir of West Java has been putting out competition level cups of coffee over the past decade. The small farms there are in contrast of the plantations of East Java we the Dutch first planted there prized crop. We like to roast this bean a bit on the lighter side to show a little more of a bright cup compared to many other famous Indonesian coffee's. These beans really are small lot and something the team at Ski Bum was blessed to get their hands on. We hope you enjoy!

Flores
Flores, the home of the Komodo dragon and infinite natural beauty. We tried to find a coffee that was different than traditional Indonesian's. We think we found that coffee at the Bajawa Albertus & Reti farm.
Balanced sweet and bittering tones, with moderate acidity in light roasts, and accents of whole spices. Delicious dark roasted too, thick bodied, with opaque chocolate flavors and finish. We have been roasting this one at every roast level and are really excited in the cups that we are getting. Let us know how you want this and we would be glad to roast it to your liking and look forward to the feed back.
